Rental, deposit and refund policy

This page explains how payments, deposits and refunds work at Point A to Point B Cars, operated by Point A to Point B Cars LLC. The rental agreement you sign at pickup has the full terms. If this page and your signed agreement ever differ, the signed agreement controls.

What we rent

We rent passenger vehicles by the week from our lot at 5181 W Mountain St., Stone Mountain, GA 30086. You pick up and return the car in person, by appointment only. Nothing is shipped.

Who can rent

You need a valid driver's license and your own auto insurance that covers you and the rental car.
Every driver must be listed on the rental agreement. Additional drivers must be 21 or older.
We may check your credit and verify your license and insurance. We work with drivers who have challenged credit, but every rental is subject to our approval and to vehicle availability.

Security deposit

A $350 security deposit is due before you take the car.
When you return the car, we inspect it and return your deposit, less anything you owe under the rental agreement. That can include unpaid rent, late fees, fuel, cleaning, damage, tolls, tickets and impound or recovery costs.
You forfeit the deposit if the GPS tracker is tampered with or removed, or if the car is not returned or paid for another week by the due date.

Weekly rent and late returns

Rent is $350 a week, paid in advance one week at a time. Your rate is written on your rental agreement.
To keep the car, pay for the next week by 3:00 p.m. on your due date. Otherwise the car is due back by then.
Late returns are charged the daily rate, taxes and fees, plus $50 for each calendar day.

Cancellations and refunds

Pickups are by appointment. To cancel, call or text us at least 24 hours before your appointment and we refund everything you have paid.
If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, or miss your appointment, we may keep up to $50 of what you paid to cover holding the car for you.
Once a rental week has started, that week's rent is not refunded if you return the car early.
If we cannot provide a car, or we end a rental for a reason that is not a breach of the agreement, we refund any rent you paid for days you did not have the car.
Refunds are issued to the original form of payment within 5 business days.

Other charges you might see

Fuel: $15 for each quarter tank the car comes back short.
Smoking in the car: $350.
Cleaning, if the car comes back much dirtier than it left: up to $350.
Switching to a different car when nothing is wrong with yours: $100.
Taking the car out of Georgia without our approval: $500.
Using the car for rideshare or delivery work: $450.
Towed or impounded car: $450 recovery fee, and the daily rate continues until the car is recovered.
Tolls, parking tickets and traffic fines are yours, plus an administrative fee of up to $50.
